Abstract

The preliminary study focuses on the analysis of productive projects oriented to the disability sector in Bolivia, specifically from the perspective of the Cochabamba case. In this context, the research was developed according to its main objective, which was to address the analysis of productive projects in the disability sector in Cochabamba. To this end, the following specific objectives were established: the determination of conceptual parameters, the evaluation of the perception of the productive approach to disability, and the structuring of categorical dimensions for the conception, implementation and consolidation of productive projects in favor of the disability sector. The work will follow a mixed approach to obtain both quantitative and qualitative data on disability-oriented productive projects. Through interviews and documentary analysis, it will seek to understand the current context of the projects in Punata and Quillacollo, with special emphasis on how they are managed, what their achievements are, and where they face challenges in terms of sustainability, accessibility and training. The study will also carry out a comparative analysis with the case of “La Valiosa” in Spain, with the objective of extracting lessons and successful practices that can improve the projects in Bolivia. With this comparison, it is expected to provide a broader perspective on how projects can be adapted at the local level to be more effective and sustainable, helping to promote the social and productive inclusion of people with disabilities in Cochabamba. Finally, the main results obtained include the existence of conceptual theoretical parameters applied to the productive approach to disability, the development of perceptions on the productive projects implemented by the State, and the structuring of parameters of categorical dimension to be applied in the conception, implementation and consolidation of productive projects oriented to the disability sector.
