About the Journal
The journal is called Con-Sciencias Sociales. The name is a play on words that allows the reader to articulate various ideas. On the one hand, the product itself to be achieved and that will be the result of working inter and multidisciplinary "with" the different areas of the "Social Sciences".
However, it also refers to the necessary "social conscience" and that today we know that it is not a single one, so we can speak of "consciences", in reference to the capacity of all individuals, groups and / or organizations in society. to perceive the realities that require attention, but also reflection, to act in their transformation for the benefit of the human being.

EDITORIAL LINE
Con-Sciencias Sociales is an academic and scientific journal of teachers and students of the Department of Social and Human Sciences of the Universidad Católica Boliviana San Pablo. It addresses, in an inter and multidisciplinary way, issues of the social and human sciences in general.
Con-Sciencias Sociales seeks to contribute in a pluralistic way to the dissemination of scientific knowledge generated locally, nationally and internationally.
For this reason, at a time when disciplinary boundaries are being questioned, Con-Sciencias Sociales adopts a cautious stance towards disciplinary production and intends to promote inter- and multidisciplinary encounters and approaches to social phenomena.
Disseminate the scientific and academic production of local, national and foreign teachers, students and researchers, in the area of social and human sciences.
SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES
- Promote the production of knowledge in the field of Social and Human Sciences.
- Publicize the latest studies and proposals in the area of Social and Human Sciences.
- Generate dialogue between the different actors linked to the field of Social and Human Sciences.
- Contribute to the training of future professionals in the Social and Human Sciences.
- Strengthen the field of Social and Human Sciences as an area of studies and inter and multidisciplinary meeting.
MISSION
The mission of the journal Con-Sciencias Sociales is to promote scientific debate in all areas of social sciences through the dissemination of research by teachers, students and special guests, with the aim of contributing with analysis and responses to current social problems and emerging.
Its target audience is professionals, teachers and students in the area of social and human sciences.
CONTRIBUTIONS
Papers must be original, without having been published in any medium or being in the process of publication, being the responsibility of the authors to comply with this rule. Contributions to the journal can be:
Scientific research
Document that presents, in detail, the original results of completed research projects. The structure used has four sections: Introduction, methods, results and discussion (5000 to 7000 words).
Essay
Document that presents the results of a completed research project from a theoretical, analytical, interpretative or critical perspective of the author, on a specific topic, using original sources. The structure generally used contains three major sections: introduction, development and conclusions (5000 to 7000 words).
Review
Document that arises from a completed research where the results of published or unpublished research on a field of social sciences are analyzed, systematized and integrated, in order to account for the progress and development trends in the area. It is characterized by presenting a careful bibliographic review with a minimum of 50 references (1000 to 2000 words).
PERIODICITY
The publication of this journal is biannual, it being put into circulation a new issue regularly every six months.
The documents published in the Revista Con-Sciencias Sociales are designed in such a way that they are widely disseminated, contributing to public debate and academic knowledge. Therefore, its reproduction is authorized as long as the source is cited and it is done without profit. (CC BY NC SA). This work is under a Licencia Creative Commons Atribución-NoComercial-CompartirIgual 4.0 Internacional.
Con-Sciencias Sociales maintains the ORIGINALITY requirement of the scientific articles it publishes, which are the responsibility of the authors.
Scientific articles received in the Revista Con-Sciencias Sociales after passing the editorial review and prior to the double blind peer review, are reviewed by the anti-plagiarism software Ouriginal.

The published works must be unpublished. Otherwise, the name and date of the publication in which it has appeared before, the publisher's address and a letter from the publisher authorizing its reproduction must be included.
The journal Con-Sciencias Sociales does NOT charge any article processing fee (APC), which is a fee that is charged to authors of scientific publications so that their work is available in open access.
The journal Con-Sciencias Sociales participates in the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN) program to digitally preserve magazines in OJS. The LOCKSS program offers decentralized and distributed preservation, perpetual uninterrupted access, and preservation of the authentic original version of content. The PKP PN ensures that journals that are not part of any other digital preservation service (such as CLOCKSS or Portico) can be preserved for long-term access.
